George hit the train scene with a bang a number of years ago by purchasing the entire Walt Downer collection intact and since then he has added many “best of the best trains”. George has one requirement for his trains- quality. This collection is what I would say is the finest collection of Lionel postwar sets and rarities to ever be sold at auction. That is a big statement as we have sold some great collections. This includes so many rare sets it would be impossible to list them but the common factor is that almost all of them are like new or mint. Quite a few have sealed engines. Included in the postwar are an amazing array of rare boxcars, engines in master cartons and just plain incredible condition.
